Participation Requirements for seminars of kalkspatz (registered association)


Registration is effective from the time payment reaches our account or as soon as we receive an authorization for a direct debit. With money transfers please make sure that the name of the participant, the seminar title and, when possible, your telephone number are included under comments.
Money transfers which cannot be assigned to anyone will result in no registration. As soon as we send the registration confirmation the registration is binding. Please call us if no letter is received within two weeks of paying the registration fees. Every participant is personally responsible for obtaining the seminar documents, which are necessary for attending the seminar. When overbooked the applications will be taken in chronological order.

kalkspatz will pay half of the seminar fee for apprentices/students and students of ceramics! It is necessary to send or fax a student or school identification for the discount. The seminars to which this regulation does not apply are so noted.

Our obligations:
With the invitation letter, about 10 days before the seminar, the participants will receive all relevant information regarding accommodation, provisions and directions, as well as what material is necessary to bring. Material costs are not included in the seminar fee. Materials which are taken from the seminar can result in extra costs. The content of the seminars is the sole responsibility of the docents. We endeavor to maintain a high standard in this regard. Should there be reasons to complain, we ask the participants, when possible, to bring these up during the seminar so that a quick agreement can be achieved. If this is not possible please contact kalkspatz after the seminar.

Cancellation and Changing:
If a seminar is not adequately filled 14 days before beginning, we will decide if it will still take place. There is no recourse for participants as a result of a cancellation by us. Paid registration fees will be returned without any deductions or can be applied to another seminar. If, up until 21 days or more before a seminar, a participant cannot attend there are two choices: either the participant can transfer to another seminar or they can receive a refund minus a 10.- euro processing fee. If the cancellation happens with less than 21 days before the beginning of the seminar, it is only possible for a reimbursement or transfer when a replacement participant is found for that seminar. Whoever cannot participate because of overbooking will be reimbursed in full or can apply their money to another seminar. It is possible to be put on a waiting list before the seminar. It often happens that participants must cancel at the last moment (sometimes only hours before). In this case we attempt to find a replacement participant and work our way down the waiting list in numerical order. However reachability plays an important role here.


We handle all personal data confidentially. As a participant one declares oneself in agreement with the electronic storage of their data. Every participant also receives a participant list with everyone's
address to enable creating carpools and contacts.

In addition:

Each participant is responsible for themselves; kalkspatz accepts no liability. Mistakes in the seminar program are not deliberate, however the printed details on the registration confirmation are binding. By registering one acknowledges the acceptance of these participation requirements.
